Goodreads Synopsis:

His goal is to stand firm

As the middle child in a big family, Len Thompson has found it easy to slip under the radar. His relationships outside the family-run garage tend to run a mile wide but only an inch deep as he keeps his heart, body and soul protected. But when the one woman he’s always wanted makes it known she’ll soon be leaving town, he can’t resist letting her into his carefully constructed fortress.
Her gift is rocking his world

Chasing her best friend’s big brother has both entertained and frustrated Janey for years. She’s not sure what triggered his change of heart, but hell, yeah, she’ll accept it. All of it. Every kiss, every touch, every bit of body-shaking pleasure. Working to meet her renovation deadline is suddenly not nearly as interesting as the mind-blowing escapades she’s enjoying with the big sexy mechanic.

When old fears threaten, Len must finally choose—face his past or let their future crumble.

My Thoughts:

The Cover: Ok, so again, going along with our theme lately, another one of “those racy covers”. Hot guy, this one holding a big wrench. Mmmmmm, ok, a mechanic—totally does it for me.
The Plot:  I was pleasantly surprised by the story line to One Sexy Ride. At first, it just seemed to be pretty standard contemporary. Boy and girl crushing on each other forever; finally letting go and giving it a try. Until bam, something catastrophic breaks them up. But Len and Janey's story was so amazing, I ended up crying. One Sexy Ride is a touching story about family, love, lose and being brave enough to share your deepest self with someone.

The Characters:  I didn't like either of our protagonists at the beginning of the book. They both seemed like they had so much growing up to do. And the most unlikely couple! They just seemed so different. But by the end, I loved them both. Len's sweet gestures to win Janey were perfect and beautiful. Oh, the characters, right. Once again Vivian has created a very well written cast of characters. Another family to follow through their adventures in love and being a family.

Is it Worth Reading?:  At first, I wasn't sure. But I am so glad I finished it. It was definitely a great story that I enjoyed. I look forward to reading more about the Thompson's and recommend it to readers of contemporary and romance. One Sexy Ride gets 4/5 crossbows.
