Goodreads Synopsis:

She can’t shift, but she can shake their world.

Caroline Bradley is having one hell of a week. Her wolf lover has sniffed out his mate, making her an instant free agent. Not only that, Takhini territory has been overrun with aggressive bear-shifters electing a clan leader, and the wolf pack is feeling the effects—pushing her diplomatic skills to the limit.

Tyler Harrison is a grizzly on a mission. If he’s going to win the majority of the bears’ votes, he needs one final thing: a female companion. The only woman in town with influence over wolves, humans, and more bears than he’d like to admit, is Caroline.

Despite the sexual pull between them, though, Tyler’s not seeking a permanent relationship. And Caroline isn’t looking to be anyone else’s political pawn. But she should have remembered that when shifters are involved, changes happen in the blink of an eye.

Warning: Billionaire bear hero plus kick-ass human heroine equals a sexually volatile power struggle. Get ready for what might be the naughtiest game of tag that’s ever been played in the great outdoors.

My Thoughts:

The Cover: For all my goings-ons about covers showing half-dressed people, and not liking “these kind of books”, I love the cover to this one! This cover is very pretty. Sure, there's a great looking man with his shirt open showing some fabulous muscles. But this cover is more mystery and intrigue, to me.
The Plot:  Diamond Dust has an amazing plot. It was definitely not what I expected. Every time I thought I had something figured out, whoops, there's another twist. As with the first 2 Takhini Wolves books, Diamond Dust kept me on my toes, nothing felt like I had already seen it.

The Characters: As always, Vivian Arend's characters are awesome, very well written. Caroline has always been one of my favourite characters, strong, dependable, and independent. I was definitely time for her to meet her match. And Tyler was strong, warm, smart, and loving. Caroline deserved a good guy after everything she had always done for the pack. Again, old characters returned as well, Shaun and Gem, Shelley, Chase, Evan and of course, what would a bear book be without Frank.

Is it Worth Reading?:  Definitely! Diamond Dust was just as good, maybe better than the first two. I may be biased because its about Caroline. Maybe Caroline and her bear, Tyler are just hotter or their story just sweeter. But once again the Takhini Wolves rocked. I definitely recommend Diamond Dust to readers of fantasy paranormal romance and give it 5/5 crossbows!
