Please
meet our amazing author Erica Crouch!!
Erica
Crouch is a young adult and new adult author from Baltimore,
Maryland. She has a strange blended aesthetic of cute and spooky, and
her books reflect her ever changing mood. (You may find romance, you
may find gore—sometimes both in the same book, but probably not at
the same time. Probably.)
Erica
is the cofounder of Patchwork Press, an author-powered publisher of
middle grade, young adult, and new adult titles. She is the head of
editorial services and design, with nearly fifty projects to her
name. Find a complete list of Erica’s books at ericacrouch.com.

Synopsis:
With
the aftertaste of Heaven still strong, Pen and Azael cloak themselves
in their new demonic destinies, fighting for Lucifer against the
angels. Pen, warring against former friends turned vengeful enemies,
still struggles with defecting to Hell. But in one short battle, they
go from forgotten to famous, thrust into the spotlight where she has
no room for uncertainty.
Suddenly top-tiered demons, they’re tasked with seeing through hell’s new agenda: corrupting man. But tarnishing Eden isn’t as simple as they thought it would be, especially when they’re forced to work with another team of demons who are trying to claw their way up the ladder of power.
Entice is an e-novella that prequels Pen and Azael’s story in Ignite.

My
Thoughts:
The Cover: Entice has a beautiful cover, very dark. But I don't like it. Personally, I think it just doesn't work for the Ignite series. I mean come on, Pen is a fallen angel, a dark angel, black wings and all. Instead, we have this fair maiden, dressed in pink. Hmmm, something just doesn't seem right.
The Plot: I love the story line to Encite. It was typical Erica Crouch, a great, well crafted story that kept me engaged. It was very well written and moved along consistently at a good pace. You can't help cheering on Pen and Azael.
Characters: Pen has been my favorite since I first met her in Ignite. She is one kick-ass heroine and honestly, I just want to see her kick her brother Azael's ass. She gave up everything for him, even when she was not sure of that decision. Yet, he is such an egotistical brat.
All of Erica's characters are very well written and believable right from evil, conniving Lucifer to cunning, deceitful Naamah and Botis, the competition. With all the hate, greed, and deception that Pen has to muddle through, it just makes me love her character more.
Is it Worth Reading?: Definitely, Erica Crouch tells a great story, although I have to admit I enjoyed Ignite more. I do love a good twist on an old story and a spin on a bible story is even better! While I look forward to Incite, I highly recommend Entice to readers of YA fantasy and paranormal and give it 4 out of 5 crossbows.
