Born in sunny Birmingham in the late 80's I always wanted to write as a child, so as I grew and explored my love of working with animals and people I used all these experiences to create my first story and from there I was hooked! My Children and my animals are my main source of inspiration always giving me new ideas and stories to write. I studied as a Youth Worker and i'm also a qualified early years practitioner as well has having lots of random qualifications including in animals and sports ;) My first book ever published is called Sox and Pals and is about my Raccoon Socrates, a very special raccoon that helps educate people all about animals and how to care for animals properly

My Thoughts:
The Plot: What a great story! I really enjoyed the adventure and the comraderie of our main characters. It was a fun read that I am sure young readers will enjoy very much. I couldn't wait to see what would happen next.
The Characters: All of our characters were amazing. Our three main characters were interesting and worked well together, even with their separate issues. They each worked hard to overcome things that would be difficult for anyone and supported each other throught those problems, even when they didn't know what was going on.
Was It Worth Reading?: Yes!! While this book is clearly meant for a younger audience, I completely enjoyed every thing about it. I realized as I was reading that 2 out of 3 of my monsters would totally love this book. I recommend The Curse of the Nomed to young readers of adventure and give it 5 ot of 5 crossbows.
