This Week on the blog, I am featuring the first 2 books of the Stage Dive series, by Kylie Scott. I first read Lick way back around July 2013 when I was lucky enough to get a copy off of Netgalley. I absolutely loved it. My review originally posted on My Bookish Fairytale and Goodreads. Now that I have read Play, (again absolutely loved it) I figured I would pull Lick out of the archives and post it on my own blog to tease and tantalize all your reading senses! Definitely not a one night stand series!! And not for young readers! Without further adieu......

Synopsis:
Waking
up in Vegas was never meant to be like this.
Evelyn Thomas’s plans for celebrating her twenty-first birthday in Las Vegas were big. Huge. But she sure as hell never meant to wake up on the bathroom floor with a hangover to rival the black plague, a very attractive half-naked tattooed man, and a diamond on her finger large enough to scare King Kong. Now if she could just remember how it all happened.
One thing is for certain, being married to rock and roll’s favourite son is sure to be a wild ride.

Holy
wow, this book just became my new favorite book. The cover was
absolutely beautiful and sold me on the book. I decided I needed
something a little more than YA and damn, did I get it.
The plot
was hot and I do mean HOT!! Ev and David’s story had me ranting,
crying and cheering. This is romance, drama, and even some action. I
believe a good book should evoke some emotion in you as you’re
reading it and Lick definitely gave me both good and bad feelings.
Ev and
David were both awesome characters. Both had strong personalities
which contributed to some very romantic and very tense moments, all
of which had me holding my breath. The passion between these two
characters is intense.
The
supporting characters were each very well defined. Each of Ev’s and
David’s friendships fit well into the story, created with a good,
strong background of their own.
I
literally finished this book in just over 24 hours. I could not put
it down. Not only will I be reading it again, I will definitely by
recommending it to lovers of contemporary, drama, romance, and
erotica.
